Viking Electric in Addison, IL is seeking an Industrial Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team. You will coil, spool, cut, and label wire for customer orders using specialized machinery, with on-the-job training provided.

This full-time role involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects as needed. You will review orders, select the correct reel and wire specifications, and ensure accurate inventory handling while following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient with RF devices and warehouse technology; basic math for measurements.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Review orders to determine reel size and wire type, size and color needed.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload reels and load new ones onto the wire machine.
• Restock inventory and adhere to safety procedures.
