Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis is seeking a Wire Cutter to coil, spool, cut, and label wire for customer orders. You’ll work in a collaborative warehouse with on‑the‑job training, on the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu). The role centers on precise handling of wire with safety and efficiency in mind.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50–75 lbs, and using RF devices. Compensation includes $21.00–$26.00/hr plus $3 wire diff and $2 shift diff, plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with wire cutting machinery is preferred but not required.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and basic math for unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Review orders to determine reel size and wire type, size, and color.
• Measure, cut, and label wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload and reload reels, restock wire inventory as needed.
• Follow SOPs and safety regulations on a warehouse floor.
• Operate RF devices and warehouse systems efficiently.
