Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler Backup Wire Cutter in Milwaukee. You will move products from the warehouse to trucks, ensuring accurate packing and timely delivery.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, standing for long periods, and willingness to learn forklift operation. Compensation includes hourly pay with shift and wire differentials plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for much of shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willing to learn forklift operation; training provided.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks; move boxes/materials safely.
• Count, check and record items entering/exiting warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Maintain organization and prevent damage; follow safety procedures.
