Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler Backup Wire Cutter in Milwaukee. You’ll drive product movement from the warehouse to trucks, ensuring accurate picks in a fast-paced, safety-conscious team setting.

You will work 1:30pm–10:00pm, with competitive pay and benefits. The role involves learning forklift operation, scanning inventory, and maintaining organized storage while supporting excellent customer service within the Viking Electric

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and handheld scanning device.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or similar equipment.
• Count, check and record items coming into or shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels with barcodes and labels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and protect against damage.
• Follow procedures to keep the warehouse safe and secure.
