Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Job Shop Welder for the 2nd shift in Sherman, TX. You will set up and operate welding equipment, interpret prints, and weld aluminum and stainless steel to specification. Responsibilities include documenting parts, ensuring quality, and participating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with overtime as needed. Safety PPE is required, and there is no relocation benefit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Working knowledge of TIG and MIG welding of aluminum and/or stainless steel.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop orders.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Weld components per print specifications and ensure quality.
• Retrieve/enter data into the system and document parts.
• Perform 5S and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.
