Job summary

SpaceX in McGregor, TX is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift to build structural and fluid systems for test campaigns at our Texas test site.

You will join an elite team to rapidly assemble large assemblies that support vehicle and component testing. Requires 2+ years in two welding processes and a high school diploma, with preference for 5+ years in one process and crane/forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in at least two welding processes (FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW).

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple welding processes per business needs (FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW).
• Fit up and weld structures or pipe spools of various materials.
• Interpret drawings and take-offs to plan fitting and welding operations.
• Maintain safety and operate at heights and in outdoor environments.
