Job summary

Havis in Warminster, PA is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm, Mon-Fri). You will weld various metals, set up processes, and work to production schedules while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires MIG/TIG welding up to 1/4 inch, forklift operation, and ability to read drawings. Candidates should have a high school diploma and own basic tools; physical stamina is needed for lifting up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• MIG and TIG weld up to ¼" steel and aluminum.
• Ability to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and Drawings.
• Able to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Must regularly lift and move from 50 to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for welding various metals: stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel.
• Welds and fabricates parts using a variety of machines including Millermatic 250 Mig Welder and Syncrowave 350 LX Tig Welder.
• May involve other fabrication work in areas such as Fastener Insertion Press, Shear, Spot Weld Machine, Auto-weld machine, Milling machine, Deburring, and Sanding Equipment.
• Executes work orders and engineering drawings.
• Receives verbal and written orders to fabricate parts.
