Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Welder for a client in Leetsdale, PA on 2nd shift. The role involves MIG welding, TIG welding, and operating multiple welding systems with fixtures. Aluminum welding and occasional stick welding are also required.

Initial training on first shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) will precede a transition to the second shift. Overtime opportunities exist, and manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in welding is preferred and manufacturing environment exposure helps.
• Training on First shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) for initial period before transitioning to Second shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and operate related fixtures and machines.
• Operate drilling machine and robotic welding system per specs and jigs.
• Perform TIG welding and hand brazing; occasional stick welding as needed.
• Weld aluminum and ensure quality and adherence to welding standards.

We have a client located in Leetsdale, PA seeking a Welder on 2nd shift

Job Duties

• MIG Welding
• Operate metal inert gas welder, drilling machine, and robotic welding system using appropriate fixtures
• TIG welding and hand brazing, as well as occasional stick welding
• Performs aluminum welding
• Overtime is available
• Position will ultimately transition to second shift after training on First shift

Job Requirements

• Training on First shift, 6AM-2:30PM for first couple months
• Sets up and operates metal inert gas welder (MIG), drilling machine, and robotic welder using jigs, fixtures, and welding manufacturing specifications; must be able to program robotic welding system per manufacturer's instructions
• High School Diploma or GED or work-equivalent job experience
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
• Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
