The ideal candidate has 3+ years of welding experience, proficiency in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG), and the ability to operate grinders, overhead cranes, and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree .
• 3+ years of welding experience.
• Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW (MIG), and/or GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Experience operating grinders, overhead cranes, and forklifts .

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Fit, align, and weld components according to specifications.
• Pass and maintain internal X-ray quality weld testing (SMAW/FCAW).
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and structural integrity.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
• Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
