Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling (HYMH) in Berea, KY is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, tack, and weld components for lift truck assemblies while maintaining quality standards and a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and experience with welding techniques and blueprint reading. Overtime and strict adherence to procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Experience with welding techniques and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tack, weld, and align parts to support production.
• Position, fixturing, grind, cut, and tack as needed.
• Ensure weld quality, proper penetration, and adherence to specs.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping; use PPE correctly.
• Follow company policies and participate in safety programs.
• Read and interpret SOEs, shop orders, prints and diagrams.
