Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months welding experience (certification preferred), and the ability to read blueprints and measure parts. Training provided for safety and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Six (6) months welding experience preferred; welding certification preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal parts together using electric or gas welding equipment.
• Fills cavities or corrects malformations in parts and removes burrs.
• Uses a grinder to smooth burrs and rough edges.
• Inspects parts for defects and ensures conformance.
• Lifts and moves parts; maintains safe and organized work area.
• Operates plasma cutter to dismantle assemblies as needed.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
