Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a 2nd shift Welder in Seattle to perform welding on manufactured components using MIG, TIG, and laser welding processes. You will work with CNC and sheet metal parts, ensuring high-quality welds that meet customer specifications and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience, an AWS Weld certification in at least one process, and the ability to read welding symbols and drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience.
• AWS Certified Welder in at least one process.
• Ability to read welding symbols and engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual welding using MIG, TIG, and laser processes on steel, stainless steel, aluminum.
• Weld components produced via CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
• Read and interpret welding symbols and drawings.
• Set up welding equipment and select fillers, gases, and parameters.
• Perform tack welding, fit-up, and final welding operations.
• Inspect welds for defects and verify WPS compliance.
• Operate and maintain MIG, TIG, and laser welding equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Coordinate with CNC and sheet metal teams on readiness and priorities.
