Job summary

APX is seeking a dependable MIG Welder to support our fabrication shop operations. The role focuses on welding and assembling metal components to specification in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of MIG welding experience, can read blueprints and measuring tools, and works well both independently and in a team setting within our metal fabrication facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience.

This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, consistent in quality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Perform MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless‑steel sheet metal components.
• Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.

Qualifications:
