Job summary

Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, in Beatrice, Nebraska, is hiring a Welder for 2nd shift. You will read plans, set up weld cells, perform MIG tack and seam welds, and inspect welds to ensure quality.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strong teamwork. Hours are 2:00pm–10:00pm with a focus on safety, 5S, and lean improvements. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holidays, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience with MIG welding and weld quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other instructions to perform tasks.
• Select weld jig, position and secure parts in weld jig by hand or hoist.
• Perform MIG tack welds and seam welds as required by project.
• Set up welding cells for production runs.
• Buff and inspect welded surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and participate in 5S initiatives.
• Perform daily maintenance on fixtures and equipment (e.g., torch alignment, consumables).
• Willing to learn other product lines and apply Lean methodologies to improve processes.
