Job summary

Exmark, a division of The Toro Company, in Beatrice, Nebraska, is seeking a Quality Line Inspector for the 2nd shift (2pm–10pm). The role focuses on inspecting assembled products to ensure they meet Toro quality standards and workmanship requirements on the production line.

Responsibilities include visual, functional, and dimensional inspections using calipers and gauges, documenting issues, and supporting root cause investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products on the assembly line for quality, workmanship, and specification compliance.
• Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).
• Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to team leads, supervisors, and quality personnel.
• Remove non-conforming material from the production flow and follow established containment procedures.
• Complete required quality documentation, inspection checklists, and records accurately and timely.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions as directed.
• Follow standard work, safety guidelines, and quality procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in team meetings, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and quality goals.
