Donaldson in Frankfort, Indiana is hiring a Welder for a 2nd shift, on-site role working from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position involves assembling filtration products in a collaborative, team-focused environment with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform correct production methods with correct machinery to properly complete assigned operation
• Communicate effectively with team members and Team Leader to achieve high efficiency, high quality, and to ensure all questions are answered
• Ensure correct material is staged by checking material part numbers against first-piece sheet
• Inspect work of the last operator and communicate to them whether the quality is acceptable
• Communicate with the next operation on the line to ensure they are receiving quality assemblies, using positive feedback and constructive criticism to increase quality and efficiency
• Timely completion of 6S/TPM's
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
