Job summary

Donaldson Company in Nicholasville, KY is seeking an Assembly Technician to join an 2nd shift onsite team. You will assemble Industrial Air Filtration systems, using blueprints, parts, and hand tools, and ensure quality during the build.

Work hours are Monday–Thursday, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a collaborative, safety-conscious environment. Prior experience with mechanical assembly and reading blueprints is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle materials with forklifts and cranes.
• Demonstrate practical mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
• Quality-focused with a good eye for detail and accuracy.
• Able to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED, or prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather blueprints, build sheets, and parts for assembly.
• Use hand tools to assemble Industrial Air Filtration products.
• Test equipment when necessary and inspect finished work.
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting devices as needed.
• Move materials and finished products for handling/shipment.
• Document quality checks and records as required.
• Package, crate, and load products for shipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement and kaizen activities.
• Complete required training on hazardous materials and safety.
