Job summary

You will be involved in maintaining sheets, addressing technical questions, and supporting transitions for new employees. Overtime is required as business needs dictate; strong leadership and communication are essential assets for success.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measures and company documents for area.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace, learn methods, and be accountable for area.
• Ability to use computers and support safety, quality and productivity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit personal performance and attendance at the highest level.
• Lead area with takt and technical performance; guide team members.
• Balance work cells and assign staffing to meet takt requirements.
• Be available to welders to answer technical questions and address production concerns.
• Maintain takt, status sheets, and process sheets for the area.
• Assist the Supervisor with technical performance information on area employees.
• Operate necessary tools and ensure safe, productive operations.
• Perform all required duties and adapt to multiple areas as needed.
