PLA and its Family of Companies is seeking a Warehouse Utility I to support daily warehouse operations in Sparks, NV. The role involves cross-training across multiple areas, including forklift operation and facility maintenance, with emphasis on pallet quality and a safe work environment.

You will handle sorting, baler operations, painting pallets, and maintaining cleanliness while adhering to safety policies. A flexible team player is ideal for a fast-paced setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual labor or warehouse environments.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas, including forklift operation.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift for 8–10 hours.
• Strong attention to quality and safety standards.
• Reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Sort materials (pallets, RPCs, boxes) by hand or machine.
• Operate baler and manage cardboard recycling tasks.
• Quality painting of pallets and use of painting equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in warehouse and dock areas.
• Inspect items during sorting to ensure criteria are met and maintain throughput.
• Process items by vendor and operate at established hourly rates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, Propak, and PLA policies.
• Perform additional duties to support overall team operations.
