NOW Foods in Sparks, NV is seeking a Warehouse Lead I for the 2nd shift to guide the receiving and warehouse team, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution of daily tasks. The role requires strong leadership, forklift operation experience, and the ability to coach staff in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, SOP development, and adherence to cGMP and safety guidelines. On-site work with a focus on teamwork and reliable production support is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Additional post-secondary education and prior team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience operating Turret trucks, Dock Stockers, Powered Pallet Jacks, Dock Plates and other raised platform vehicles required.
• Experience in a warehousing, manufacturing environment, preferably food or pharmaceuticals, required.
• Knowledge of Lean principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads all areas in the Warehouse to support daily department goals and safety.
• Monitors shift performance and efficiency; suggests changes to improve throughput.
• Trains and orients new warehouse employees; develops SOPs and work instructions.
• Operates warehouse machinery (PIT) safely and proficiently.
• Collaborates with supervisors and support teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Ensures paperwork and inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.
