Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Order Picking/Distribution Technician on B shift in Salinas, CA. You will pick, pack, and ship customer orders using forklifts and related equipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Under the Order Selection Team Manager, duties include inputting data, assisting with inventory, and supporting special projects. The role requires lifting 25–50 pounds, tolerance for spice dust, and overtime on short notice. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a forklift license via McCormick.
• Experience with RF terminals or similar handheld scanning.
• Basic computer skills and data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs assignments in one of seven activity groups, including Order Selection and Replenishment.
• Operates transporter, stand-up, reach or sit-down fork truck.
• Completes paperwork and system transactions per SOPs (labels, pick lists, placards).
• Identifies issues and communicates them to leadership.
• Attends shift meetings and suggests process improvements.
• Performs general duties including sanitation and battery changes.
