Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Order Picking/Distribution Technician on B shift at the Salinas Distribution Center, Salinas, CA. You will report to the Order Selection Team Manager, and be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while operating material handling equipment.

This role requires lifting up to 25–50 lbs, a forklift license, ability to work around spice dust and temperature extremes, and may involve overtime.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and ability to operate forklift safely.
• Comfort working in spice dust, odors, noise, and temperature extremes.
• Must lift 25–50 pounds frequently.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/ship customer orders in a timely, accurate manner.
• Operate transporter, stand-up, reach or sit-down forklift.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions per SOPs (labels, pick lists).
• Identify and communicate issues to shift leadership.
• Attend shift meetings and suggest process improvements.
• Perform general duties including sanitation and battery changes.
• Assists with inventory and special projects.
