Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Order Picking/Distribution Technician for the Salinas Distribution Center on B shift. The role reports to the Order Selection Team Manager and involves picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with accuracy, using various forklift equipment.

Responsibilities include completing paperwork, inputting data into systems, and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain forklift license via McCormick.
• Able to work around spice dust, odor, noise and vibration.
• Able to work in temperatures extremes.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds continually and 25-50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate transporter and various fork trucks (stand-up, reach, sit-down).
• Complete paperwork and system transactions per SOPs (picking labels, tagging).
• Identify and communicate issues to shift supervisor or manager.
• Attend shift meetings and participate in process improvements.
• Perform sanitation and battery-charging duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
