Job summary

GHSP coordinates the receipt, warehousing, and distribution of parts and materials, overseeing movement to designated areas, labeling, inspection, and accurate transactions. The role emphasizes inbound/outbound shipment control, cycle counting, ASN handling, and strong adherence to safety and 5S practices.

Required are forklift experience, ability to lift up to OSHA guidelines, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer skills for data entry and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Prior material handling experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience operating lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per shift.
• Prior experience entering and retrieving information using a computerized warehouse system.
• Knowledge and experience using weigh counting systems.
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Experience in the operation of powered lift trucks and other material handling equipment - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement of received parts and materials to designated areas.
• Coordinate supply of parts and materials to assembly areas or designated workstations.
• Monitor inventories; verify quantities, labeling, containment action, notify discrepancies.
• Perform visual inspections per established quality control procedures.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Coordinate scanning, labeling, and wrapping of finished goods on skids.
• Coordinate cycle counting of parts, as needed and scheduled.
• Oversee printing of shipment paperwork.
• Train new employees.
• Interface with customer service and ensure accuracy of team time cards.
• Adhere to 5S systems and maintain safe work place.
