Job summary

Capstone Logistics seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day site activities, training new hires and ensuring safety and productivity. You will manage shifts, balance payroll, and coordinate with partners while upholding Capstone policies.

Required 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train and mentor warehouse staff. A BS/BA or related warehouse experience is a plus, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong customer service skills and a proven ability to resolve issues.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Prepare and balance daily bank deposits.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer or associate issues daily.
• Ensure adherence to Capstone policies and safety work rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with staff.
• Assist in managing Site and Departmental budgets.
• Schedule shifts based on customer requirements; interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Supervise data entry for services performed; close out daily cash, payroll, and records.
