Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Statesville, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely load/unload trucks, pick and ship paint orders, and move materials within the facility. You will operate forklifts and other gear to handle pallets, maintain inventory, and uphold safety standards.

The role emphasizes accurate order processing, quality checks, and contributing ideas to improve warehousing procedures. A bonus may be offered based on performance, with eligibility per company plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution facilities preferred.
• Experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers is preferred.
• Experience operating stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists and stackers, mills or farm/construction equipment is preferred.
• Experience as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate robots to facilitate effective warehouse operations.
• Coordinate site damage/re-pour area.
• Abide by all company safety and quality expectations.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
