Job summary

National Tube Supply is seeking Warehouse Material Handler for its Palos Heights, IL location. The 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) offers a starting base rate of $17.00 per hour, with a $1.25 shift differential.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of steel or industrial experience and are able to operate overhead cranes, reach trucks, saws and front-end loaders. Responsibilities include identifying materials, processing paperwork, safely handling and loading materials, and using general warehouse

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of steel or industrial experience.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow paperwork and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Properly identify materials.
• Fill out paperwork.
• Follow directions on paperwork, special instructions, and from supervisors.
• Safely handle, move, stack, and load material
• Measure/verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
• Operate general warehouse equipment: air grinder, banding, razor knife,
• Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
• Process orders into computer software.
