Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler at the Distribution Center. Starting pay is $20.13 per hour plus a $0.80 per hour premium for 2nd shift, with two pay raises in the first year. The role runs Sunday–Thursday, 7:30 PM to finish (shift times may vary).

No prior experience is required as training is provided. You will lift up to 100 pounds, read and follow English instructions, and pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• We handle frozen products; ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions required.
• Must read, write and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage and paperwork.
• Drug test and background check required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, and processing orders.
• Stand for the duration of shift and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Train with a dedicated team to learn processes and safety procedures.
• Support production and efficiency to help pay raises during the first year.

Address: 1500 N. River Road, Lithia Springs, GA

Pay: Starting at $20.13/hr (+ $0.80/hr premium for 2nd shift) Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off 2nd Shift - 7:30 PM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
