Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at our distribution center. Starting pay is 20.13/hour with potential for two raises in the first year. Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 7:30 AM to finish, with Fridays and Saturdays off. You’ll be on your feet, lift up to 100 pounds, and receive training from our team.

No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided and benefits start day one. Must be 18+ and able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle warehouse tasks in distribution center.
• Attend to order processing and scanning as part of the picking/packing process.
• Stay on your feet for the entire shift and follow training protocols.

We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions). Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check. Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
