Job summary

Vistar is seeking a 2nd Shift Order Selector to pick cases and other containers from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. The role uses an electric pallet jack/forklift and requires safety and quality standards.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 1 pm until finish. Top performers can earn over $30/hr with incentives. Requires a HS diploma or GED and 6–12 months of warehouse experience. Pay is $20.00/hr base plus shift diff and freezer differential, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Lift 10–35 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and tolerate multi-temperature environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep work area safe.
• Prepare for operations, perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and navigate racks to locate items.
• Stock items from pick slots and wrap pallets as needed.
• Transport orders to shipping dock and complete paperwork.
• Swap batteries and complete shift-end procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
