Job summary

Nestlé S.A. is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to safely operate forklifts and support our warehouse operations in Hazleton. You will perform shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following Nestlé Life Saving Rules.

The role requires 1+ years in manufacturing or warehousing, ability to obtain forklift certification, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a 2nd shift position with opportunities for overtime and growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Ability to obtain valid forklift certification.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to follow safety procedures incl. Life Saving Rules.
• English reading and writing ability.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, etc.
• Proficiency with basic digital devices (computers, tablets).
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs and all company policies.
• Work environment may include powders and food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks; verify shipments against bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment; report maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory records with cycle counts and update inventory systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas; ensure proper labeling and accessibility.
• Coordinate daily activities with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide updates and report issues to support a positive work environment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.
