Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager for the 2nd shift in Rural Hall, NC.

You will oversee multiple facilities, coordinate warehouse activities, and lead a team to meet service level agreements while upholding GXO's standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least 5 years of supervisory experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment, and flexibility for overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and operations to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Establish procedures for maintaining overall company quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to your team with respect to quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Manage equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs.
• Ensure all records/reports are completed on time and maintained appropriately.
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
• Demonstrate an understanding of GXO's quality policy.
