Job summary

Custom Goods Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Carson, CA to oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory control. The role reports to the Operations Manager/Facility Manager and involves coordinating with onsite staffing and other department heads.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring safety, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED and three years of related warehouse supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience with shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and WMS/TMS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities daily.
• Schedule and assign duties; manage pick lists, bills of lading and bin replenishment.
• Supervise shipment processes and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Lead daily safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.
• Monitor performance and ensure timely shipping according to production schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Maintain inventory integrity and assist in physical inventories.
