Viking Electric, a member of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, 2nd shift role supports the warehouse by loading, unloading, and shipping orders with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You will work with a supportive team, receive training on forklift operation and handheld scanners, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package. The position offers competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).
• Stand and walk for long periods during shifts.
• Basic math skills for counting and packing.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation via training.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely using various equipment.
• Count, check and record items coming in or going out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels for inventory tracking.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and free from damage.
• Follow procedures that ensure warehouse safety and security.
