Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Second Shift Group Coordinator Lead to supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, and train associates. The role requires hands-on leadership, forklift operation, and experience with inventory control and a Warehouse Management System.

You will work as the frontline contact within the team, coordinating workflow across receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping areas while ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or completion within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse staff
• Assign daily tasks and shift schedules
• Train new employees and support cross-training
• Ensure accurate receiving of goods
• Lead and manage workflow within department (Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting)
• Act as initial point of contact for associates
• Train associates, monitor production, provide feedback and assist Supervisor
• Open/close and secure the building
• Report unsafe conditions and communicate procedures to associates
