Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift in Roselle, IL. This full-time role supports the Branch Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, manages a small team across production and finishing tasks, and helps ensure efficient daily operations.

You will train teammates, lead start-up meetings, and uphold Scholastic's values while working in a non-air-conditioned environment. The role offers medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and a 50% discount on Scholastic merchandise.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and direct a small warehouse team with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic math and ability to read safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new-hire orientation and train associates on key warehouse functions.
• Direct a small team in production, finishing, or related areas during 2nd shift.
• Coach and mentor staff and lead branch training on new processes.
• Plan and participate in daily start-up meetings.
