Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to supervise Warehouse Associates and Department Leads across all shift activities. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and ensure efficient warehouse operations, staffing, and compliance with safety rules.

The role requires 3 years of shipping experience in manufacturing, 2 years in a lead role, and a high school diploma. A 2-year degree in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: 3 years of experience in shipping in a manufacturing environment and 2 years' experience in a Lead Role.
• Education: High School Diploma
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary
• Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space
• Cross-functional Skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting
• Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 50 pounds continuously for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day
• Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee Department Leads and assist with overall warehouse responsibilities within assigned shift
• Assist with warehouse staffing including the hiring and termination processing
• Responsible for monitoring budgeted expenses
• Assure each department within the shift has the direction needed to complete daily tasks
• Work with Department Leads and Warehouse Associates to resolve any issues or conflicts
• Oversee all warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse Manager
• Responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse and will report all activity to the Warehouse Manager
• Follow all safety rules and company policies and ensure that all personnel in the department adhere to the rules
