Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join an excellent team in Marion, OH. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and a positive attitude to excel in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Base pay starts at $21.14/hr with a $1.00 shift differential; a $1500 sign-on bonus plus $1500 retention after 120 days, plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance and retirement benefits. OT may be required on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service orientation, multitask, organizational skills, flexibility, and strong numeracy/time management.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work the required schedule and location.
• Complete Penske employment application, background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Stage and sort products for loading; load/unload trailers.
• Open/close dock doors; keep a clean, safe area.
• Sort, store and move items; read work orders and production sheets.
• Use warehouse systems to scan products and enter records.
• Package, ship, weight/count items and complete daily logs.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks where applicable and maintain inventory records.
