Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift warehouse role in Marion, OH. The position offers a competitive base rate with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift and a $1500 retention bonus after 120 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Opens and closes dock doors.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Packs containers and re-pack damaged containers.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and warehouse equipment where applicable.
• Completes daily logs and reads work orders to determine tasks.
