Job summary

Vantedge Medical is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for full-time, permanent roles with night and weekend shifts. The position pays $20.00-$22.00 per hour, with shift premiums and sign-on bonuses for specific shifts.

You will inspect incoming, in-process, and finished materials to ensure specifications are met, and document results in QA databases. The role requires a cooperative, team-focused attitude and familiarity with quality testing machines, calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection and testing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints (training provided).
• Familiarity with measurement tools and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Approves incoming material by conducting visual and measurement tests; rejects and returns unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducts tests; communicates adjustments to production lead.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducts tests; returns products for re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports/logs and inputting data into QA databases.
• Discusses inspection results with responsible leads and team members.
• Uses automated systems to perform complex testing.

Quality Control Inspector

Full-Time | Permanent

Night & Weekend Shifts Available

Hourly | $20.00-$22.00

WEEKNIGHT SHIFT:

**WEEKNIGHT SHIFT:** 4:30pm to 3:00am (10-hour shift)

flexible to select a start time between 4:30pm and 6:00pm M-F and occasional weekends may be needed.

WEEKEND DAY SHIFT:

**WEEKEND DAY SHIFT:** 6:00 am - 6:00 pm | 3 days per week (Friday- Sunday)

WEEKEND NIGHT SHIFT:

PAY: $20.00-$22.00 per hour DOE

SHIFT PREMIUM: Plus 10% for weeknight shift

Plus 11% for weekend day shift + pay for additional 4 hours

Plus 15% for weekend night shift + pay for additional 4 hours

BONUS: $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for Weeknight Shift | $1,500 Sign-on Bonus for Weekend Shifts

About this Opportunity:

This opportunity will inspect incoming and outgoing material and components to ensure their compliance to specification.

Responsibilities:

• Approves incoming material by conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor / primary lead.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm rework.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports/logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality databases.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
• Use automated systems to perform complex testing.
• Follow all safety guidelines as stated by Vantedge Medical
• Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (Vantedge Medical will train)
• Any other duties delegated by managers as needed.
