Job summary

Vantedge Medical is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for full-time night and weekend shifts. The role inspects incoming and in-process materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

Training on blueprints, GD&T, and CMM tools is provided to support accurate measurements and documentation. We offer competitive hourly pay, shift premiums, and sign-on bonuses for weeknight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Inspect materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in reading blueprints and understanding tolerances (training provided).
• Document inspection results and discrepancies in logs/databases.

Responsibilities

• Approves incoming material by conducting visual and measurement tests.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications and initiating re-work when needed.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports/logs and entering data.
• Discusses inspection results with responsible team members.
• Uses automated systems to perform complex testing.
• Follows all safety guidelines and training provided by Vantedge Medical.
• Read and understand blueprints; GD&T basics taught by the company.
• Performs other duties as delegated by management.

Quality Control Inspector

Full-Time | Permanent

Night & Weekend Shifts Available

Hourly | $20.00-$22.00

WEEKNIGHT SHIFT:

**WEEKNIGHT SHIFT:** 4:30pm to 3:00am (10-hour shift)

flexible to select a start time between 4:30pm and 6:00pm M-F and occasional weekends may be needed.

WEEKEND DAY SHIFT:

**WEEKEND DAY SHIFT:** 6:00 am - 6:00 pm | 3 days per week (Friday- Sunday)

WEEKEND NIGHT SHIFT:

**WEEKEND NIGHT SHIFT:** 6:00 pm - 6:00 am | 3 days per week (Friday- Sunday)

PAY: $20.00-$22.00 per hour DOE

SHIFT PREMIUM: Plus 10% for weeknight shift

Plus 11% for weekend day shift + pay for additional 4 hours

Plus 15% for weekend night shift + pay for additional 4 hours

BONUS: $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for Weeknight Shift | $1,500 Sign-on Bonus for Weekend Shifts

About this Opportunity:

This opportunity will inspect incoming and outgoing material and components to ensure their compliance to specification.

Responsibilities:

• Approves incoming material by conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor / primary lead.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm rework.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports/logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality databases.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
• Use automated systems to perform complex testing.
• Follow all safety guidelines as stated by Vantedge Medical
• Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (Vantedge Medical will train)
• Any other duties delegated by managers as needed.

• Ability to stand/walk throughout entire shift
• Ability to read blueprints (Vantedge Medical will train)
• Communicate / train others when needed
• Ability to inspect parts through use of manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), visual inspection, as well as programmed CMM equipment (Vantedge Medical will train)
