Job summary

Taylor Corporation is looking for a capable press operator to prepare and operate printing press equipment to meet job specifications and quality standards. You will perform routine maintenance and ensure ink and paper readiness for each run.

You will coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize work, adjust schedules, and maintain safety awareness while producing high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment per job specs and quality standards.

• Check paper type, size, color and quantity.
• Verify plates are set up correctly and monitor quality during runs.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize work and adjust schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safety requirements.

Your Shift

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for correct type, size, color and quantity.
• Verify plates are set up in the correct format.
• Inspect printed materials throughout production runs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize work and adjust schedules to meet changing deadlines and production requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials.
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
• Regularly moves up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
• We Would Also Prefer Ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Good color discernment.
