Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Game On Turf Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a continuous tufting and coating line. You will supervise associates, monitor line operations, and ensure product quality through Shaw’s stringent testing and SMS procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, precision, and constant improvement within a plant that produces world‑class turf for major teams and installations. Strong leadership and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Computer proficiency.
• Carpet manufacturing experience and ability to identify defects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of associates on a continuous line operation that will tuft and coat a field.
• Monitor associates and equipment to ensure turf is tufted and coated correctly and in the right pattern.
• Serve as liaison between Department Manager and employees with effective communication within the department.
• Ensure execution of SMS procedures and monitor production quality and processes.
• Maintain and repair department machinery and equipment as needed.
• Support environmental procedures and programs and assist in production planning and scheduling.
• Document productivity, quality and performance data and participate in departmental meetings.
