Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a turf production line and ensure quality standards across every field produced for major programs. You will supervise a team, oversee continuous line operations, and assure products meet Shaw's stringent testing and performance criteria.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving to optimize throughput, maintain equipment, enforce SMS procedures, and partner with managers on scheduling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience.
• Computer proficiency.
• Carpet manufacturing experience and ability to identify defects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of associates on a continuous line operation that will tuft and coat a field.
• Monitor associates and equipment all Gantries to ensure correct tufting and coating patterns.
• Act as liaison between Department Manager and employees and maintain effective communication.
• Execute SMS Procedures and ensure production quality and processes follow them.
• Maintain and repair department machinery and equipment as needed.
• Assist with production planning, scheduling, and testing procedures for mixed lots.
