Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to service and support equipment across our fleet of tractors, trailers, and light vehicles. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and assisting mechanics while following all safety and animal welfare guidelines.

Typical shift is 12p–11p, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NOCTI Vehicle Mechanic Level 2 preferred; CDL preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and tool ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, light trucks, cars, and loaders.
• Service vehicles (oil, filters, fluids) and grease equipment as needed.
• Assist mechanics, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Complete mandatory paperwork in a timely manner.
