Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4pm to 2:30am) in Duncan, OK. The role provides preventive and corrective maintenance for transportation equipment, including trailers and yard trucks, with a starting pay of $25.00 per hour plus a $2 shift differential.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license with Air Brakes certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license; Air Brakes certification and related inspections.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs to systems, sub-systems and components of company trailers.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections on yard trucks.
• Identifies warranty opportunities and assists with claims.
• Coaches/ assists Class C Technicians.
• Maintains an organized work area and follows safety procedures.
• Performs other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
