Page-Transportation-&-Page-E.t.c.- is seeking a mechanic/technician to repair and maintain commercial vehicles at our Morgantown, KY location. The role requires performing federal inspections and preventative maintenance on power units and trailers, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The position includes duties such as lube, fuel, brake and electrical work, and requires an NYS inspector license or progress toward one, plus ability to lift 50 lbs and pass a post-offer drug test.

Qualifications

• 1 year of trucking or repair experience.
• Must pass post-offer drug test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with tooling.
• NY Inspector license in progress or possessed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial vehicles.
• Conduct federal inspections per 396.17–396.23 Appendix G.
• Lube, oil, filter service on power units and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
• Ride along with driver to understand daily operations.
• Maintain safety and punctual attendance.
