Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Trim Operator in Orwigsburg, PA. As a key member of the production team, you will operate machinery to produce quality metal roofing and wall panels. Responsibilities include inspecting products, operating forklifts, and maintaining a clean work environment. 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Thursday

Base Pay is $19.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential

Training will occur on 1st Shift (6:00AM - 2:00PM) for 2 weeks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A Trim Operator is one of the key members of our production team. Daily responsibilities include safely operating roll formers, tunnel wrappers and forklifts. The finished product is quality metal roofing and wall panels.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Operating a tunnel wrapper to packagemetal roof trim pieces.
• Checking and visually inspecting produced trims against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced
• Operating single beam folder producing custom trim parts
• Entering production quantities for each order into computer system
• Operating a forklift for moving skids of stock trims
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work independently and with others
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 65lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 hours minimum per work shift
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
• Noise level is moderate to loud
