Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Nacogdoches, TX is hiring a Casing/Crating Transformer Assembler for a 2nd shift. Core hours are 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. overtime may be required.

Base hourly rate is $19.00 with a $1.35 shift differential. Benefits include health, retirement, parental leave, and more. You will perform final assembly across centers like tank-up, casing, and final assembly, install components, verify oil usage, and conduct leak checks while following safety protocols and production

Qualifications

• Demonstrates attention to detail in all assembly steps.
• Strong communication skills for team coordination and instructions.
• Ability to adapt to varying tasks and priorities on the production floor.
• Maintains safety practices and PPE compliance while operating tools.
• Good physical stamina for lifting up to 40 lbs and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly operations of electricity transformers per SOPs.
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies to transformer tanks with precision.
• Operate vacuum system and perform leak checks, fluid checks and oil verification.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely; attach covers and brackets as required.
• Support 5S+ housekeeping and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
