Responsibilities

  • Wrap insulation around coil and secure with tape.
  • Drive wedges between coil and core using a mallet.
  • Assemble support structure, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or cabinet panels.
  • Fabricate coils and assemble component parts to build transformers according to blueprints.
  • Clean and ink stamp part numbers/date code.
